Grant Gillespie

Grant began his investment industry career in 2022, after developing a fondness for the industry with his internship at Oppenheimer & Co. He has a passion for finance and helping his clients pursue their short- and long-term goals. Grant’s holistic approach allows him to help his clients build comprehensive plans and appropriately identify a strategy toward their desired outcomes. Prior to joining Stifel, Grant worked as an IT Systems Analyst, performing data analysis, testing, implementation, and support. He was the Manager of Client Relations, leading a team responsible for managing day-to-day relationships, contract negotiations, and renewals for clients. He also served as Program Manager, leading cross functional teams to implement key projects to drive efficiency in the company.

Grant originally started his college career playing baseball at Methodist. He later earned a duel degree in Management Information Systems and Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Grant is originally from the Greensboro area. He graduated high school from Caldwell Academy and has recently moved back to Greensboro. Outside of the office, Grant has volunteered at the Greensboro Science Center, as a founding member of Ducks Unlimited at UNC Charlotte, and as a youth baseball coach at Mercy Hill.
